Bermuda Cruise

Here ye, Hear ye, are the words you will hear as you dock into the quaint island of Bermuda. This British owned island is 700 miles off the U.S. coast in the Atlantic Ocean. Contained only within 21 miles, this fish-hooked chain of nearly 150 islands typically linked by bridges you don’t even notice as you cross over them. The popular South Shores beach is remarkably beautiful and hardly a grain of sand is out of place as it is groomed early every morning. Cove and arcs sweep the beach in simple tranquility. The pink color sand is beautiful and the sea is turquoise blue. The beaches get their pink blush from finely crushed shells and coral. Bermuda also has the distinction of having more golf courses per square mile than any other country. The island is quite small so your can get around by mopeds or pink buses that are always in sight. As you travel around this lovely island lined with pastel houses and beautiful gardens, you will want to stop and smell the enormous amount of fresh flowers or visit a small boutique a long the way. As for us, we just walked and walked between bus routes and sat on the lovely pink sand. You never feel crowded, in fact you feel like this lovely island is set out here alone for your personal enjoyment.
Most cruise ships remain in Bermuda for three-and-a-half days, allowing enough time to explore country roads unfolding pretty surprises at every turn. This is a laid back cruise. Don't expect too much entertaining on the ship itself in most cases. You came on this cruise to enjoy the outdoors and allow your self to take in the beauty and slow pace living for a week. This island is truly a hidden paradise.
